MONO by ZOO/Thomas Hauert

A coproduction of The Forsythe Company for Motion Bank

Thomas Hauert is one of the guest choreographers of Motion Bank, a research project of The Forsythe Company. For his new creation, he asked composer Fredy Vallejos to write a spatialized auditory journey akin to an abstracted "radio play". Addressing the way our consciousness emerges from the flood of sensory experiences we are constantly exposed to, the piece weaves individualized choreographic material, collective structures and supra-collective movement forces. A kaleidoscope of apparently independent events that still make sense as an integrated organism.
